San Diego FC’s second annual Season of Giving kicks off the first week of November with a month-long campaign offering several opportunities for SDFC staff and fans to give back to the community.
The Season of Giving kicks off with a Holiday Donation Drive where fans are invited to drop off new and unwrapped toys and family supplies like shoes, blankets, books, diapers, hygiene items etc. at Eighteen Threads during regular store hours between November 6 to December 6. Donors will get a 10% off in-store discount on eligibles items with their donation drop-off at Eighteen Threads.
The Club will then distribute collected items to community partners, New Vision Urban Impact, FC Young and Prosperous, Boys & Girls Club of South County, Escondido La Academia, and the Armed Services YMCA.
As a part of SDFC's Season of Giving, San Diego FC is expanding its holiday community efforts with One City, One Table, supporting families across the region during a critical time of year. To kick off this extension of the campaign, SDFC is donating 18,000 meals – equivalent to a $9,000 contribution – to the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank.
