San Diego FC is excited to be a part of the 2025 Leagues Cup Competition. This tournament sanctioned by Concacaf features 18 clubs from MLS and 18 clubs from LIGA MX with the top three finishers qualifying for the Concacaf Champions Cup.

San Diego FC will host three Phase One matches at Snapdragon Stadium. SDFC will host Liga MX opponents C.F. Pachuca (Chucky’s former Club) on Tuesday, July 29, Tigres UANL on Friday, Aug. 1 and Mazatlán F.C. on Tuesday, Aug. 5.

  • Features 36 clubs including all 18 LIGA MX teams and 18 qualifying MLS teams.
  • The top nine teams in each MLS conference who participated in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs from 2024 qualified. SDFC will debut in this tournament, taking the Vancouver Whitecaps FC place.
  • Consists of two rounds: Phase One, beginning July 29, and the Knockout Rounds, ending with the Leagues Cup Final on August 31.
  • The Quarterfinal pairings will be decided based on Leagues Cup Phase One performance.
  • Top three teams will receive automatic bids into Concacaf Champions Cup with a chance to represent the Confederation at the FIFA Club World Cup.
  • No Draws format.
