San Diego FC will face Liga MX’s team C.F. Pachuca for the first time in Club history for Leagues Cup 2025. Forward Hirving “Chucky” Lozano will take on his childhood club on Tuesday July 29 at 8:00 PM at Snapdragon Stadium and you can purchase your tickets here.
C.F. Pachuca opened up their 2025-2026 season with two wins and is currently at the top of the table in the Liga MX. The Club plays in Pachuca, Mexico in Estadio Hidalgo and is known to be one of the top teams in Mexico. C.F. Pachuca won the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup after defeating Columbus Crew 3-0.
Being born and raised in Pachuca, Mexico, Lozano joined C.F. Pachuca’s youth academy at the age of 11 in 2006. Lozano made his debut with the Tuzos at 19 years old in 2014 and made 149 appearances in four seasons, contributing 43 goals and 31 assists. Pachuca won the Concacaf Champions League championship in 2016-2017, where Lozano was named Best Young Player. Since joining Major League Soccer, Lozano has played 19 matches with SDFC and has tallied six goals and eight assists, earning him a spot for the MLS All-Star game.
