The ofrenda will be up from October 4th to November 2nd for Día de Los Muertos. We ask that each person does not bring more than 2 items, so everyone has a chance to participate. Please read carefully below what is recommended.

  • All food must be packaged and shelf stable. If it starts to go bad, it will be thrown away.
  • No open drink containers.
  • Candles are allowed but cannot be lit. Battery powered candles are strongly encouraged.
  • Photos and frames must be 5x7” or smaller.

Day of the Dead, or Día de Los Muertos, is a vibrant Mexican holiday celebrated on November 1st and 2nd to honor and remember loved ones who have passed. Families and friends welcome the spirits of the dead with joy, celebration, and ofrendas.

The word ofrenda means "offering" in Spanish. In terms of Día de Los Muertos, an ofrenda is an altar filled with food, drinks, candles, flowers, photos, and personal belongings. These offerings are meant to guide and welcome the spirits during their brief visit, showing that they are still loved and remembered.

Rather than being a sad occasion, Day of the Dead is a joyful celebration full of love, color, and tradition. It’s a beautiful way to celebrate life and show that love never dies.

If you’d like to pick up your items after the event is over, please do so on November 3rd during regular store hours: Monday - Friday, 10 AM – 9 PM, Saturday, 10 AM – 9 PM and Sunday, 11AM – 7 PM.

We look forward to joining you in this celebration. Thank you and see you soon!
