San Diego FC played FC Cincinnati to a draw at Snapdragon Stadium on Saturday night, with Marcus Ingvartsen scoring twice for SDFC in an entertaining back-and-forth match.
Ingvartsen continued his strong run of form, finding the net in both halves as San Diego created dangerous attacking moments throughout the night against one of the league’s top teams. SDFC showed confidence going forward and matched Cincinnati’s intensity from the opening whistle.
FC Cincinnati answered each challenge to keep the match level, setting up a competitive finish between two sides pushing for a result late. San Diego continued to apply pressure in the closing stages but was unable to find the breakthrough goal.
The result marks San Diego FC’s first draw against FC Cincinnati in club history.
