Saturdayās match marks SDFCās inaugural Military Appreciation Night, presented by DIRECTV ā a special evening honoring the service and sacrifice of the regionās active-duty service members, veterans, and military families. SDFC returns to Snapdragon Stadium after suffering its first-ever home loss, a 3-1 defeat to Real Salt Lake on April 26. Despite the result, SDFC remains in seventh place in the Western Conference and will look to reset in front of its home crowd. Saturdayās game will mark the Clubās sixth home match of the season.

Among all MLS newcomers in 2025, SDFC winger Anders Dreyer has emerged as one of the leagueās most impactful creators. The Danish international leads all first-year players with 26 key passes and currently ranks in the top five across the entire league in that category.
Lozano in Form
Hirving āChuckyā Lozano continued his strong run of form last weekend, converting a penalty kick for his second goal of the season. The Mexican international now has six goal contributions (2 goals, 4 assists) in just seven appearances (six starts) for the Club in 2025.

Dangerous Opponent
FC Dallas enters Saturdayās contest riding the momentum of an exciting 4-3 road win over Inter Miami CF on April 27 ā handing Miami its first loss of the 2025 MLS regular season. Led by head coach Eric Quill, Dallas currently sits sixth in the Western Conference and will aim to continue building form away from home. FC Dallas hasnāt lost on the road since last October, when it fell 3-2 to the San Jose Earthquakes at PayPal Park, and has gone six straight road matches without a loss to start the 2025 season ā the longest streak to begin a campaign in their history.
Familiar Faces
Saturdayās match brings SDFC Head Coach Mikey Varas face-to-face with his former MLS club. Varas served as an assistant coach for FC Dallas under then-head coach Luchi Gonzalez for three seasons (2019ā2021), following his work with the clubās Academy (2017-2019). During his tenure there, FC Dallas reached the MLS Cup playoffs twice fueled by a number of standout Homegrown players from the clubās academy.
